Tasting notes for Domaine René et Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2015
To the eye – Pale gold robe with green highlights, of silky clarity and a brilliance that heralds its tension.
On the nose – Aromas of fresh lime, delicate orange blossom, then deeper notes of lemongrass and flint, lifted by an iodine-tinged saline touch.
On the palate – An ample and precise texture, carried by a lively acidity and chalky minerality, giving way to a long, spiced finish where salinity lingers with elegance.
Serve between 12 and 14°C, in a white Burgundy wine glass to bring out its full complexity.
Vintage 2015
A generous vintage, marked by a rare balance between ripeness and freshness, ideal for the Grands Crus of Chablis.
- Ageing potential: 15 to 20 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (10–12°C) away from light.
