From the vines of Blanchot, this Chablis Grand Cru 2017 from Domaine Raveneau expresses the chalky minerality and citrus notes of Kimmeridgian soils. Fermented in barrels, it offers a taut palate and a saline finish. Ideal with seafood, it can be cellared for 5 to 10 years.
A family estate rooted at the heart of Chablis, Domaine François Raveneau has perpetuated since 1948 a winemaking heritage defined by exacting standards and precision.
– Terroir: Kimmeridgian soils of Burgundy, where Grand Cru appellations reveal a unique minerality, shaped by marine fossils and steep hillsides.
– Vinification: Artisanal methods – hand harvesting, fermentation in used oak barrels and extended aging for a pure expression of Chardonnay.
