The Domaine des Tours 2004 blanc, a rare wine from the Vaucluse, reveals the chalky soils of Sarrians. Made from Clairette and Grenache Blanc, it offers aromas of white fruits and a saline minerality. Its silky, fresh palate pairs beautifully with noble fish or aged cheeses.
Nestled in the heart of Sarrians, this family estate embodies the heritage of the great wines of the southern Rhône, driven by the passion of Emmanuel Reynaud.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils and rounded pebbles from the Vaucluse, bathed in Mediterranean sunshine, shaping wines of rare intensity.
- Winemaking: Traditional methods and patient aging to reveal the purity of the fruit and the minerality of the terroir.
Tasting notes for the wine Domaine des Tours 2004 blanc
To the eye: Golden robe with amber highlights, of an unctuous and slightly oily texture, betraying a fully accomplished ripeness.
On the nose: Aromas of candied fruits (apricot, fig), acacia honey, dried flowers, and a saline touch reminiscent of Mediterranean sea spray.
On the palate: A silky attack, lively acidity and chalky minerality, carried by an elegant tension and a long, almost saline finish.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to bring out its full complexity.
Vintage 2004
A generous vintage, marked by a hot and dry summer, yielding white wines of early ripeness and beautiful concentration.
- Aging potential: To drink now or to store until 2028 under optimal conditions (cool and humid cellar).
