Nestled in the heart of the Rhône Valley, this family estate embodies the demands of an exceptional terroir, shaped by generations of artisanal expertise.
- Terroir : Clay-limestone soils of Sarrians, bathed in the Mediterranean climate, where the garrigue and the winds sculpt wines of rare precision.
- Winemaking : Biodynamic methods, hand harvesting, and patient aging to reveal the authenticity of the grape varieties and the vintage.
Tasting notes for the wine Domaine des Tours Merlot-Syrah 2004
- Appearance : Deep garnet robe with tawny highlights, of a silky density and a mineral brilliance that heralds its maturity.
- On the nose : Aromas of dried cherry and blonde tobacco intertwine with notes of wild garrigue, aged leather, and candied olive, lifted by a saline and peppery touch.
- On the palate : Velvety attack, tannins still firm but integrated, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality that stretches into a long, spiced finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to release its full complexity.
