The domaine des Tours Merlot Syrah 2012, from the IGP Vaucluse, combines the roundness of Merlot with the structure of Syrah. Notes of blackberry, pepper, and vanilla balance on a velvety and mineral palate. Perfect with duck breast or cheeses, it can be kept until 2025.

Nestled in the heart of Vacqueyras, this family estate embodies the exacting standards and Rhône tradition under the direction of Emmanuel Reynaud.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils and rolled pebbles from the hillsides of Vacqueyras, bathed in the Mediterranean climate – a mineral and sun-drenched signature.
- Vinification: Aging in vats and barrels to preserve the purity of the fruit while sculpting an elegant and precise structure.
Tasting notes for the wine Domaine des Tours Merlot Syrah 2012
To the eye: A deep garnet red robe, of silky density, where the light dances with a velvety intensity.
On the nose: First, aromas of wild blackberry and black cherry, followed by a touch of licorice and gentle spices, before ending on a chalky and slightly saline note.
On the palate: A broad and fleshy texture, driven by a lively acidity and discreet minerality, stretching into a long and harmonious finish.
Serve between 16 and 18°C, in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2012
A vintage marked by an ideal climatic balance, where the ripeness of the grapes allowed the full richness of the terroir to be expressed.
- Aging potential: To keep until 2028 under optimal conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
