Château Haut-Brion
Nestled in the heart of Pessac-Léognan, this historic estate has embodied Bordeaux excellence since the 16th century, combining family tradition and innovation under the aegis of Domaines Clarence Dillon.

Tasting notes for Château Haut-Brion 2000
To the eye – A deep garnet-red robe of velvety density, already hinting at the richness of time.
On the nose – An enchanting bouquet of ripe black cherry and candied blackcurrant, lifted by nuances of smoky cedar, blond tobacco and a saline touch reminiscent of the damp undergrowth of Graves.
On the palate – A smooth and precise texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long, taut finish where gentle spices and silky tannins intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2000
A sunny and generous vintage, marked by a perfect balance between fruit ripeness and mineral freshness, typical of the great wines of Pessac-Léognan.
- Ageing potential : Ready to enjoy today, yet capable of improving until 2075 under ideal cellar conditions (12–14°C, controlled humidity).
