The Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Prieur Bas 2023 from Joseph Roty, crafted from Pinot Noir on chalky soils. Aged in barrels, it offers aromas of red fruits and spices. The palate, precise and silky, reveals a beautiful minerality. Perfect after 3 to 5 years alongside duck breast or a matured cheese.

To the eye: A deep ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky and luminous density.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh black cherry, violet and liquorice, lifted by a hint of undergrowth and a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate: A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a taut minerality, with a long and precise finish, marked by notes of flint.
Serve at 14-16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full purity.
