The Château Mouton Rothschild 1987, from the gravels of Pauillac, blends Cabernet Sauvignon (85%), Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Aged in new oak barrels, it offers notes of raspberry, beeswax and undergrowth, with a lively and mineral palate. Perfect until 2025, paired with roast lamb or game.

Tasting notes for Château Mouton Rothschild 1987
- To the eye : Garnet robe with brick-red hues, of silky density and a brilliance subtly veiled by time.
- On the nose : Aromas of ripe raspberry, black cherry, damp undergrowth and beeswax, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of light tobacco.
- On the palate : Velvety attack, tannins still present but well-integrated, lively acidity and chalky minerality, leading to a long and harmonious finish marked by notes of liquorice and leather.
Serve at 18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its aromas.
