To the eye: A ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of candied black plum, blonde tobacco, cedar and undergrowth, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of liquorice.
On the palate: Velvety texture and silky tannins, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, leading to a long and harmonious finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to bring out all its nuances.
