Tasting notes for Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses 2018
- To the eye : A pale gold robe with silvery highlights, of silky clarity, already betraying the mineral tension that runs through this grand cru.
- On the nose : An airy bouquet where notes of white peach and candied lemon mingle, before deeper accents of warm flint and iodine emerge, carried by a saline touch characteristic of the great terroirs of Chablis.
- On the palate : The attack is lively and precise, carried by a crystalline acidity that stretches into a chalky, elegant texture, while the long, saline finish leaves a persistent mineral impression.
Serve between 10 and 12°C in a white Burgundy wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
2018 Vintage
A vintage marked by optimal grape ripeness, offering a perfect balance between freshness and concentration, ideal for lovers of great Chablis.
- Aging potential : Store for 10 to 15 years in a cool, humid cellar, away from light, to allow the wine to develop its full complexity.
