The Hermitage Blanc 2000 from Domaine Jean-Louis Chave is sourced from the granitic terroirs of Hermitage. This wine, composed of Marsanne and Roussanne, reveals aromas of candied fruits and honey. Domaine Jean-Louis Chave
Since 1481, this family estate rooted in Mauves, in Ardèche, has perpetuated an exceptional winemaking heritage on the steep slopes of Hermitage.

Tasting notes for the wine Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage Blanc 2000
To the eye: A golden robe with amber reflections, of a silky and luminous texture, heralding a generous and finely chiseled substance.
On the nose: Aromas of candied apricot and acacia honey intertwine with notes of bitter orange and barley sugar, lifted by a saline and mineral touch.
On the palate: A broad and velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, extending into a long and taut finish where gentle spices and persistent freshness intertwine.
Serve between 12 and 14°C, in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2000
A vintage marked by an ideal climatic balance, where warm summer days and cool nights allowed the grapes to reach perfect maturity while preserving their natural tension.
- Aging potential: Drink until 2030, provided it is stored in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
