A family estate rooted in the Hermitage hillsides since 1481, where every bottle carries the legacy of an unbroken winemaking tradition.

Tasting notes for Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage Blanc 1993
Appearance: A deep gold color with amber highlights and a silky, slightly dense look that betrays the wine’s maturity and concentration.
Nose: Candied fruit aromas—apricot and quince—intertwine with acacia honey, beeswax and struck flint notes, with a saline touch in the background.
Palate: A rich, velvety opening, supported by still-lively acidity that balances the creamy texture, while chalky minerality extends the finish with long-lasting saline notes.
Serve at 12–14 °C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to bring out its complexity.

A vintage marked by early ripeness and concentrated fruit, with freshness emerging over time despite an initial decline in acidity.
