Since 1481, the Chave family has shaped the excellence of Hermitage wines, rooted in the granite slopes of the Rhône Valley.

Tasting notes for Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage Blanc 2002
Appearance: Golden with green highlights, a silky, luminous look that hints at a dense, generous palate.
On the nose: White flowers and ripe apricot intertwine with acacia honey, followed by a saline touch and chalky minerality characteristic of Hermitage’s great terroirs.
On the palate: A lively, precise opening, driven by taut acidity that balances a rich texture, while hints of flint and toasted almond carry through a remarkably long finish.
Serve at 12–14°C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to bring out its complexity.
