The Volnay 1er Cru 2022 from Domaine Coche-Dury reveals the chalky terroirs of Taillepieds and Clos des Chênes. This Pinot Noir, with its notes of red fruits and violets, captivates with its lively and mineral palate. Ideal with game or to be cellared for 8 to 10 years.
Domaine Coche-Dury
A family estate rooted in Meursault, where exacting standards and respect for the terroir have shaped wines of rare precision for nearly a century.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Beaune, the cradle of great Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, where each parcel expresses a unique minerality.
- Vinification: Aged in carefully selected oak barrels, for a pure expression and a silky texture, without artifice.
Tasting notes for Domaine Coche-Dury Volnay 1er Cru 2022
To the eye: A garnet red robe with deep highlights, of a velvety and luminous texture, heralding a dense and elegant substance.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry and wild strawberry, followed by floral notes of peony and violet, then a smoky and mineral touch, like an echo of the chalky soils of Volnay.
On the palate: A silky and taut attack, where fine tannins, a lively acidity and a saline minerality intertwine, leading to a long and precise finish, carried by gentle spices and a touch of undergrowth.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to release all of its complexity.

A vintage marked by generous ripeness and preserved freshness, offering a perfect balance between concentration and elegance.
- Aging potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
