Tasting notes for Domaine Michel Lafarge Volnay 1er Cru Les Mitans 2020
To the eye: a garnet red robe with deep reflections, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: aromas of poached plum and fresh black berries intertwine with notes of violet and gentle spices, lifted by a saline and mineral touch.
On the palate: a vibrant attack, carried by a precise acidity and elegant concentration, where the dry extract envelops the palate with a fleshy texture and a long, taut finish.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
