Château des Tours
A family estate rooted in the heart of Vaucluse, where Emmanuel Reynaud carries on a winemaking heritage of exacting standards and precision.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils and rounded pebbles on the slopes of Vacqueyras, bathed in a Mediterranean climate—a setting for wines that are both generous and structured.
- Winemaking: Aging in tanks and barrels, with respect for natural rhythms, produces cuvées in which freshness meets depth.
Tasting notes for Château des Tours Merlot Syrah 2004
Appearance: Garnet color with brick-red highlights, silky depth and crystalline brilliance.
Nose: Wild blackberry and black cherry aromas, lifted by notes of licorice, gray pepper and a saline touch reminiscent of the Provençal garrigue.
Palate: Velvety texture, fine, taut tannins and lively acidity supporting chalky minerality, with a long, spicy finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage marked by a hot, dry summer, when the grapes’ ripeness found rare elegance, combining concentration and freshness.
