The Michel Lafarge Volnay 2023, from biodynamic vines on calcareous soils, reveals notes of black cherry and a silky palate. Aged in used barrels, this Pinot Noir combines mineral freshness and fine tannins. Perfect with white meats or for cellaring 5 to 8 years.
Heir to a family expertise rooted in the hillsides of Volnay, this estate embodies the alliance between Burgundian tradition and biodynamic rigor.
- Terroir: Shallow, stony calcareous-clay soils from the finest lieu-dits of Volnay, shaping wines of chalky minerality and rare elegance.
- Vinification: Manual harvesting, gentle fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aging in used barrels to preserve the purity of the Pinot Noir.
