To the eye – A garnet red robe with tawny highlights, of a silky density.
On the nose – First, fresh aromas of violets and morello cherry, then deeper notes of wild blackberry and liquorice, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of damp undergrowth.
On the palate – A smooth and precise texture, where vibrant acidity dialogues with silky tannins and a chalky minerality, leading to a long and elegant finish, carried by nuances of cocoa and soft spices.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
