The Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Chênes 2020 from Domaine Michel Lafarge is born on clay-limestone terroir. This Pinot Noir, aged in barrels, offers aromas of red fruits and spices. The palate, silky and mineral, captivates with its fine tannins. Ideal after 10 years, it pairs beautifully with meats and aged cheeses.

To the eye: Deep purple robe with garnet highlights, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry, wild blackberry and violet, lifted by a touch of liquorice and a subtle chalky minerality.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, silky tannins, taut acidity and a saline finish, carried by a mineral and persistent length.
