Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet
A family estate rooted in the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet, where the Burgundian heritage has been passed down with rigor for nearly a century.
- Terroir : Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Côte de Beaune, the cradle of great Chardonnays, shaping wines of chalky minerality and rare elegance.
- Vinification : Traditional methods, fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aging in French oak barrels to preserve the purity of the fruit and the tension of the terroir.
Tasting notes for Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers 2022
- On the eye : Pale gold robe with green highlights, of a silky clarity and crystalline brilliance.
- On the nose : Aromas of candied lemon, white peach and acacia blossom, lifted by a saline touch and a flint minerality that heralds the complexity of the terroir.
- On the palate : A lively and precise attack, driven by taut acidity and a smooth texture, while notes of roasted hazelnut and melted chalk extend into a long, saline finish.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full aromatic palette.

A vintage marked by early ripeness and fruity concentration, while retaining the freshness and tension characteristic of great white Burgundies.
- Aging potential : To be cellared for 10 to 15 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C) and away from light to reveal its full complexity.
