The Meursault Les Rougeots 2011, from the clay-limestone hillsides of Meursault, is an exceptional oaked Chardonnay. Nose of citrus, toasted sesame and minerality. Broad palate, taut acidity and saline finish. Perfect until 2033 with lobster or chicken with morel mushrooms.
A family estate rooted in the heart of Meursault, where exacting standards and patience shape wines of rare precision.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Beaune, where Chardonnays express a chalky minerality and a taut elegance.
- Vinification: Slow pressing, aging in oak barrels (including a proportion of new ones) and natural fermentation to preserve the purity of the fruit.
