The Champagne estate Marie COURTIN is located in Polisot, in the Aube region, and owns 2.5 hectares of continuous vineyard, whose main grape variety is Pinot Noir. Dominique Moreau, who owns this Champagne estate cultivated using organic and biodynamic farming methods (since 2007), wanted to give it his grandmother's name, as a tribute.

Please note that the address of Marie Courtin Champagnes is shared between Dominique Moreau and Champagnes Piollot père et fils (managed by her partner, Roland Piollot). Dominique Moreau is a talented winemaker, and her cuvées are highly regarded, though rare, as only around 20,000 bottles are produced each year. The range is short but superb, with the Marie Courtin Cuvée Résonance Extra Brut, which represents a pure, fresh and highly mineral Champagne, accompanied by delicate aromas of fresh fruit and a subtle hint of chalk. On the palate, the wine is deep and rich, with good acidity leading to a deliciously mineral finish. The Marie Courtin Résonnance 2017 cuvée is made from 100% pinot noir, with a fine and airy nose, beautifully fresh, with red berries and white fruits. On the palate, this Marie Courtin Champagne is vibrant, with a very airy, fairly lively bubble: the perfect aperitif companion. The Marie Courtin Présence Extra Brut cuvée is crafted with 70% chardonnay and 30% pinot blanc, for a non-dosé Champagne with no added sulfites. A distinctive cuvée of great personality and beautiful length, produced in only 1,700 bottles: a true Prestige Champagne. The Concordance 2016 cuvée is a 100% pinot noir Champagne with no added sulfites. A great Champagne with a golden colour and extra-fine bubbles, with deep and natural aromas of apple, vineyard peach, and elderflower. On the palate, this Marie Courtin Champagne is full and flavourful, with a fine yet excellent tension on the finish. A wine for contemplation, to be enjoyed without restraint. The Marie Courtin Eloquence 2016 Champagne cuvée is 100% chardonnay, zero dosage, and is the perfect example of a Champagne cuvée capable of satisfying all your guests, with aromas of yellow peach, apple, quince, and Victoria pineapple. On the palate, candied citrus and honey are delicately expressed. A genuine success. Finally, the Marie Courtin rosé Champagne is a saignée rosé (increasingly rare), therefore more deeply coloured and of a more distinctive character.
