Nestled in the heart of Saint-Émilion, this legendary estate has embodied Bordeaux excellence since the 18th century.
- Terroir: gravelly and clay-limestone soils of the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation, shaping wines of rare elegance.
- Vinification: a meticulous blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, aged with patience to reveal the full purity of the fruit and the minerality of the terroir.
Tasting notes for Château Cheval Blanc 2003
To the eye: a deep garnet red robe, with a silky texture and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: aromas of wild blackberry, black truffle, roasted coffee and a saline touch reminiscent of damp undergrowth.
On the palate: a velvety attack, precise acidity and a chalky minerality, extended by a long, taut finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its complexity.

A vintage marked by summer heat, yielding powerful and generous wines while retaining the characteristic balance of Cheval Blanc.
- Aging potential: 15 to 20 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
