Tasting notes for the Domaine des Tours Merlot Syrah 2012
To the eye: A deep red robe with garnet reflections, of a dense and silky texture.
On the nose: First aromas of wild blackberry and black cherry, followed by a hint of liquorice and soft spices, before ending on a subtle chalky and saline note.
On the palate: A round and fleshy attack, carried by a lively acidity and discreet minerality, stretching into a long and harmonious finish where ripe fruits and spices intermingle.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to reveal its full complexity.

A vintage marked by a balance between summer warmth and autumnal freshness, yielding wines of fruity maturity and well-balanced structure.
