Born in Sarrians in IGP Vaucluse, the Domaine des Tours 2019 (Château des Tours) blends Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. Aged 16 months in barrels, it reveals aromas of dark fruits and herbs, a silky texture and a mineral freshness. Ideal until 2035, it pairs well with game and aged cheeses.
Château des Tours
A family estate rooted in the sun-drenched lands of the Vaucluse, where the Rhône heritage is passed down with exacting standards.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils and rounded pebbles from Sarrians, bathed in the Mediterranean climate – a setting for wines that are both generous and precise.
- Vinification: Patient aging in vats and large oak barrels, preserving the purity of the grape varieties and the mineral signature of the southern Rhône Valley.
Tasting notes for the Domaine des Tours 2019 wine
To the eye: A deep purple robe with garnet reflections, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of wild blackberry, black cherry and garrigue, lifted by a hint of white pepper and a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate: A velvety attack, fine and taut tannins, balanced by a lively acidity and a persistent minerality, leading to a long and elegant finish.
Serve between 16 and 18°C, in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage defined by balance, where summer heat and cool nights sculpted wines that are both full-bodied and structured.
