Jean Marc Roulot Meursault 1er cru Perrières 2003
The Meursault 1er Cru Perrières 2003, signed by Domaine Roulot, is a mineral Chardonnay born on the limestone slopes of Meursault. Its aromas of hazelnut and flint precede a taut, chalky palate. Perfect with lobster or Bresse chicken, it gains in complexity after a few years in the cellar.

A family estate rooted in the terroir of Meursault, where exacting standards and tradition shape wines of rare precision.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Beaune, the cradle of Burgundy's finest Chardonnays, where the Premiers Crus express a chalky minerality and a taut elegance.
- Vinification: Aged in oak barrels, with a controlled touch of new wood, to preserve the purity of the fruit and the tension of the terroir.

In the eye: A golden robe with green highlights, of a silky density, revealing both the maturity of the vintage and the mineral freshness of the terroir.
On the nose: Aromas of candied lemon, roasted hazelnut and acacia blossom intertwine, carried by a saline touch and a hint of flint, the signature of the greatest Meursault wines.
On the palate: A rich yet vibrant texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long and saline finish, where fresh almond and soft spices intertwine.
Serve between 12 and 14°C, in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.

A vintage marked by an early heat wave, where the ripeness of the grapes was preserved by cool nights, yielding powerful yet well-balanced wines.
