From the clay-limestone soils of Meursault 1er Cru Charmes, this 1983 from Domaine des Comtes Lafon offers notes of dried fruits, vanilla and toasted bread. The palate, dense and taut, captivates with its saline minerality. Perfect with pan-fried foie gras or to be kept for later.
A pillar of Burgundy since 1869, this family estate embodies the exacting standards of a terroir and the transmission of artisanal expertise.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of Meursault, where Premier Crus such as Charmes reveal a chalky minerality and a silky elegance.
- Vinification: Biodynamic approach and barrel ageing, for precise, taut wines that are faithful to their origin.
