Tasting notes for Domaine Prieuré Roch Vosne-Romanée Les Hautes Mazières 2021
To the eye: a garnet red robe with deep reflections, of a silky and luminous texture, heralding a wine that is both dense and delicate.
On the nose: aromas of black cherry and wild blackberry intertwine with notes of violet and soft spices, lifted by a mineral touch reminiscent of chalk and damp undergrowth.
On the palate: a lively and precise attack, carried by silky tannins and taut acidity, while a chalky minerality stretches into a saline and persistent finish.
Serve between 14 and 16°C, in a Burgundy glass to enhance its complexity.
