Tasting notes for Domaine Prieuré Roch Vosne-Romanée Les Hautes Mazières 2021
To the eye: A deep ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky density and a crystalline brilliance that heralds a generous substance.
On the nose: A fresh and precise bouquet, where aromas of black cherry, violet and liquorice intertwine, before giving way to a mineral touch and a subtle hint of undergrowth.
On the palate: A velvety and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, which stretches into a long and saline finish, marked by elegant tannins.
Serve between 14 and 16°C, in a Burgundy glass to bring out its subtle nuances.
