The Bienvenue Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2021 from Domaine Ramonet is born on the limestone slopes of the Côte de Beaune. This barrel-aged Chardonnay offers notes of yellow fruits and a chalky minerality, underpinned by a lively acidity. Perfect with foie gras or scallops.
Since the 1920s, this family estate has embodied the excellence of Burgundy's great white wines, rooted at the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet.
- Terroir : Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Côte de Beaune, the cradle of the greatest Chardonnays, where each plot reveals a unique minerality.
- Vinification : A traditional approach, combining oak barrel aging and patience, yielding wines of rare precision and elegance.
Tasting Notes for Domaine Ramonet Bienvenue Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2021
- In the Glass : A golden, dense and luminous robe with silky highlights that herald an unctuous texture.
- On the Nose : Aromas of white flowers and candied citrus intertwine with notes of roasted hazelnut, acacia honey, and a saline touch — the signature of great limestone terroirs.
- On the Palate : A lively and precise attack, carried by taut acidity, gives way to a rich and chalky texture, before a long, mineral finish where an elegant salinity lingers.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
