The Benoît Marguet Shaman Grand Cru 21 Rosé Magnum, from the chalky soils of Ambonnay and Bouzy, is a biodynamic rosé of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Fermented in barrels, it captivates with its aromas of strawberry, citrus and toast, its fine bubble and its minerality. To be enjoyed now or cellared for 5 to 10 years.
A family house rooted in the Grands Crus of Ambonnay, where respect for the terroir and biodynamic practices shape champagnes of rare purity.
- Terroir : Chalky soils of the Grand Cru villages of Ambonnay and Bouzy, brimming with minerality and tension.
- Vinification : Barrel fermentation, aging on lees and minimal dosage to reveal the most faithful expression of the grape variety and the terroir.
Tasting notes for the Champagne Marguet Père & Fils Benoit Marguet Shaman Grand Cru 21 Rosé Magnum
- On the eye : A rosé robe of silky delicacy, enlivened by a fine and persistent effervescence, like a veil of silk over a chalky stone.
- On the nose : Freshness of wild strawberries and tart red currants, followed by a floral touch of violets, then a toasted and saline depth, reminiscent of sea spray and toasted bread.
- On the palate : A lively and precise attack, where the mineral tension embraces a velvety texture, carried by an elegant acidity and a long, saline and refined finish.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a tall flute or a wide-mouthed champagne glass to release all of its complexity.
Vintage 2021
A vintage marked by vibrant freshness, where the balance between maturity and acidity gives birth to a rosé of great precision, both taut and generous.
- Aging potential : 8 to 10 years under optimal conditions (stable temperature, away from light and vibrations).
