The Volnay 1er Cru 2023 from Domaine Coche-Dury, a Pinot Noir from the clay-limestone hillsides of Volnay. Aromas of red berries, spices and toasted notes, oaked. Silky, mineral and fresh palate. Perfect from 2025 onwards with duck breast or mushrooms.
Domaine Coche-Dury
A family estate rooted in the Côte de Beaune, where exacting standards and discretion shape wines of rare precision.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of Volnay, where Pinot Noir expresses a mineral elegance and a fruity depth.
- Vinification: Aging in oak barrels, respect for natural cycles, for cuvées of a silky tension and a saline length.
Tasting notes for Domaine Coche-Dury Volnay 1er Cru 2023
To the eye: Deep ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a velvety texture and a crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh black cherry, wild blackberry, wilted violet, then a hint of liquorice and a saline note reminiscent of damp undergrowth.
On the palate: A silky attack, fine and chalky tannins, lively and mineral acidity, a long and persistent finish where soft spices and ripe fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage marked by a balanced maturity, where freshness and concentration respond to one another in harmony.
- Aging potential: 7 to 15 years, to be kept in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
