The Guigal Ermitage Ex Voto 2006, from the granitic terroirs of Hermitage, is a rare Syrah from old vines. After 42 months in barrels, it seduces with its notes of dark fruits, leather and spices, a broad palate and silky tannins. Ideal with braised rib of beef or game.
Since 1946, the Guigal family has embodied the excellence of Rhône wines, rooted in Ampuis with an uncompromising commitment to its exceptional terroirs.
- Terroir: The granitic and schistous hillsides of Hermitage, bathed by the northern climate of the Rhône, sculpt Syrahs of rare minerality and depth.
- Vinification: Extended aging in oak barrels, respect for old vines and parcel-by-parcel blending for a pure and structured expression of the terroir.
