The Pétrus 2003, a fine wine from Pomerol, draws its richness from a blue clay terroir. This Merlot offers aromas of blueberry and violet, a silky palate, and melted tannins. Its long, fresh finish makes it an ideal companion for noble dishes until 2035.
A legendary estate of Pomerol, Pétrus embodies the rare union between a unique terroir and a tradition of viticultural excellence.
- Terroir: Situated on a clay-gravel plateau rich in iron crust, at the heart of the Pomerol appellation, this rare soil imparts a mineral depth and a singular structure to the wine.
- Vinification: Meticulous aging in oak barrels, respecting the purity of the Merlot to reveal a style that is both powerful and of a refined elegance.
