The Pétrus 2011, from Pomerol, draws its richness from a clay-gravel soil. This wine, 96% Merlot, offers notes of black fruits and spices, aged in new barrels. Its tannic and fresh palate combines elegance and length. Perfect until 2040, it pairs with game and cheeses.
Nestled in the heart of Pomerol, this iconic estate has embodied Bordeaux excellence for generations.
- Terroir : 11.5 hectares of unique clay soils at 40 metres of altitude, where Merlot flourishes into a rare expression of depth and minerality.
- Vinification : Fermentation in concrete vats, ageing in new oak barrels – a precise alchemy for wines of timeless elegance.

On the nose – Aromas of wild blackberry and candied black cherry, then notes of truffle, cedar and a saline touch reminiscent of the damp undergrowth of Pomerol.
On the palate – A smooth texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a finish of remarkable length, where sweet spices and ripe fruits intermingle.
Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
