Tasting notes for the wine Château Latour 1993
To the eye – Garnet robe with tawny highlights, dense and luminous, betraying a silky maturity and a still vibrant structure.
On the nose – Aromas of candied blackcurrant intertwine with notes of dried cedar, Havana tobacco and prune, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of liquorice.
On the palate – Velvety texture, tannins melded into an elegant framework, lively acidity and chalky minerality carrying a long and persistent finish, where dark fruits and gentle spices intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
