Tasting notes for Château Latour 1982
To the eye: A garnet robe with tawny highlights, dense and silky, revealing a fully accomplished maturity.
On the nose: Aromas of candied blackcurrant, cedar, blonde tobacco and black truffle, underscored by a saline touch and a hint of graphite.
On the palate: A velvety texture, a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, carried by silky tannins and a remarkably long finish.
Serving temperature: 16–18°C – Bordeaux glass to bring out its full complexity.
