Michel Lafarge Volnay 1er cru Clos des Chênes 2020
The Michel Lafarge Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Chênes 2020, sourced from the clay-limestone hillsides of Volnay, is a Pinot Noir aged in barrels. Notes of cherry, violet and earth, a silky palate and a mineral finish. To be kept 10–15 years, it pairs beautifully with braised lamb or aged cheeses.

Tasting notes for the wine Domaine Michel Lafarge Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Chênes 2020
In the glass: a garnet red robe with deep reflections, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: aromas of black cherry and fresh raspberry intertwine with notes of violet and forest floor, lifted by a saline and chalky touch.
On the palate: a lively and precise attack, where mineral tension meets silky tannins, leading to a long and subtly spiced finish.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.

A vintage marked by balance, where the freshness and maturity of the grapes offer a harmonious expression of the terroir.
- Aging potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
