On the nose: Aromas of ripe blackcurrant and wild blackberry intertwine with notes of cedar, pencil lead and a saline hint of graphite, before giving way to nuances of undergrowth and violet.
On the palate: A velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, while the fine, tight tannins extend a spiced and persistent finish, marked by dark fruits and a hint of liquorice.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to reveal its full complexity.
