Tasting notes for Château Brane-Cantenac Brane Cantenac 1998
To the eye: Garnet red robe with tawny highlights, of a velvety density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, fresh violet and cedar, lifted by a hint of blonde tobacco and a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate: Silky and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and graphite minerality, with a long and spiced finish.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its nuances.
