Château Ducru-Beaucaillou A legendary estate rooted in the terroir of Saint-Julien, where the family's uncompromising standards shape wines of timeless elegance. - Terroir: Deep gravels and rounded pebbles of the Médoc, lending the wines a chalky minerality and a precise structure, typical of the Saint-Julien appellation. - Vinification: Aged in French oak barrels, blending Bordeaux tradition with modernity to produce cuvées that are both powerful and silky. Tasting notes for Château Ducru-Beaucaillou 2007 Eye: A deep garnet red robe of velvety density, already hinting at the complexity of the tannins. Nose: Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, wild blackberry and black cherry, lifted by spiced notes of clove and a mineral touch of graphite, evoking the estate's gravelly soils. Palate: A silky and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a saline minerality, with a long and elegant finish where oak and gentle spices subtly intertwine. Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its aromas.
