To the eye: Deep garnet-red robe with tawny highlights, of silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, candied plum, blonde tobacco and cedar, lifted by a mineral hint of graphite and a touch of undergrowth.
On the palate: Velvety texture, firm yet melted tannins, lively acidity and chalky minerality, leading to a long, saline finish of great precision.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
