The Cristal Rosé 2014 from Louis Roederer, born in Champagne, combines 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay, partly aged in barrels. Pale pink robe, aromas of raspberry and spices, silky and saline palate. Ideal with shellfish, this 2014 vintage can be kept until 2035.

To the eye – A pale pink robe with copper reflections, of silky clarity, crossed by a ribbon of fine and persistent bubbles.
On the nose – An airy bouquet where wild raspberry and fresh blackcurrant intertwine, before deeper notes of gooseberry, gentle spices and a smoky touch emerge, like undergrowth after rain.
On the palate – A broad and concentrated attack, carried by a velvety texture that unfolds into a mineral tension, while a precise acidity and an iodized saltiness extend the finish into a saline and infinitely savory length.
Serve between 8 and 10 °C in a tall flute or a wide-rimmed champagne glass to release its full complexity.
