From the gravels of Pauillac, the Château Lafite Rothschild 2023 (Premier Grand Cru Classé) blends Cabernet Sauvignon (93%) and Merlot, aged in new French oak. Notes of blackcurrant, tobacco and cedar, silky and mineral palate. To be cellared for 15–20 years, it pairs with game and rich dishes with elegance.

Tasting notes for Château Lafite Rothschild 2023
To the eye: Deep red robe with garnet reflections, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh blackcurrant, toasted cedar, blonde tobacco and bitter orange zest, lifted by a saline touch and a chalky minerality.
On the palate: Velvety and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a precise tannic structure, with a long and saline finish, marked by notes of graphite and liquorice.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
2023 Vintage
A vintage of balance, where freshness and concentration blend to offer a wine of great precision, faithful to the elegance of Lafite.
- Aging potential: 20 to 40 years, to be cellared under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
