Tasting notes for Château Latour 1996
- To the eye : A deep garnet robe with brick-tinted highlights, of silky density and crystalline brilliance.
- On the nose : Aromas of fresh blackcurrant evolving towards notes of cedar, cigar box and graphite, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of wild mint.
- On the palate : A broad and fleshy attack, carried by firm yet velvety tannins, a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, delivering a finish of persistent and elegant length.
Serve at 18°C in a Bordeaux glass to unlock its full complexity.
