From the clay-limestone soils of Les Perrières, this Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru 2021 is a barrel-aged Chardonnay. Aromas of green apple, citrus and acacia blossom, chalky minerality. Dense, fresh and saline palate. Ideal with fine fish, to enjoy until 2030.
Nestled in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet, this family estate perpetuates a viticultural heritage where precision and respect for the terroir guide each vintage.
- Terroir: clay-limestone and marly soils of the Côte de Beaune, shaping Chardonnays of chalky minerality and poised elegance.
- Vinification: barrel ageing carefully managed to preserve the purity of the fruit, balancing tension and silkiness.
- To the eye: a golden robe with greenish highlights, brilliant and of an unctuous texture, like a veil of liquid silk.
- On the nose: aromas of green apple and fresh grapefruit intertwine with notes of acacia blossom, before giving way to a saline touch and a chalky minerality, evoking stones warmed by the Burgundian sun.
- On the palate: a dense and precise attack, where the zesty tension carries flavours of ripe fruits (pear, banana) and candied citrus, while a long, saline finish reveals subtle nuances of clear honey and lemon thyme.
Serve between 10 and 12 °C in a Burgundy glass to bring out its full complexity.
A vintage marked by a vibrant freshness, where the balance between ripeness and acidity gives rise to wines of remarkable precision.
- Ageing potential: to be kept until 2030-2035 under optimal conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
