The Château Lafite Rothschild 2010, a jewel from Pauillac, is born on gravelly and limestone soils. Dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (87%), it offers dark fruits, cedar and violet, a precise tannic structure and a lively minerality. A wine for cellaring until 2040, it pairs with red meats and cheeses.
Château Lafite Rothschild
Nestled at the heart of the Pauillac appellation, this legendary estate has embodied Bordeaux excellence since the 17th century. A family heritage in which every bottle bears the imprint of an exceptional terroir and an uncompromising expertise.
- Terroir : Deep gravel soils and a limestone subsoil of Pauillac, where the well-draining soils sculpt wines of rare minerality and elegance.
- Vinification : Ageing in French oak barriques, from a rigorous plot selection, for cuvées of remarkable precision and length on the palate.
Tasting notes for Château Lafite Rothschild 2010
To the eye – A deep red robe with garnet reflections, dense and silky, like liquid velvet capturing the light.
On the nose – First, aromas of ripe blackcurrant and wild blackberry, followed by notes of cedar, violet and a touch of graphite, all lifted by a subtle mineral salinity.
On the palate – A smooth and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with fine tannins and a persistently long finish, where gentle spices and dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage marked by perfect ripeness, where the balance between freshness and concentration gives rise to a wine of rare harmony.
- Aging potential : 30 to 50 years, to be cellared under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity and away from light).
