Fixin 1er Cru Les Hervelets 2013 from Domaine Bart – Aged on the chalky soils of Fixin, this red wine reveals aromas of red fruits and spices, carried by a silky and mineral palate. Its freshness and precision make it an ideal companion for meats and cheeses, to be enjoyed until 2028.
A family estate rooted in Marsannay-la-Côte, where Pinot Noir has expressed itself with precision for generations.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côtes de Nuits, where the Premiers Crus of Fixin reveal a chalky minerality and an elegant tension.
- Vinification: Aged in barrels for a precise structure, without artifice, respecting the purity of the fruit and the freshness of the terroir.
To the eye: Garnet robe with tawny highlights, of a silky and luminous density.
On the nose: Wild strawberry, black cherry and violet intertwine, carried by a hint of liquorice and a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate: Velvety texture, lively acidity and fine tannins shape a taut palate, where the minerality persists into a long, saline finish.
Serve at 14-16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its aromas.
A vintage marked by slow ripening, offering wines of remarkable freshness and precision.
- Ageing potential: Drink until 2028, stored away from light and temperature variations.
