The Grand Cru 2016 from Domaine Armand Rousseau, sourced from the limestone soils of Mazis-Chambertin, is a Pinot Noir of great finesse. Aged in barrels, it reveals notes of wild berries, liquorice and a mineral touch. Its palate, fleshy and precise, pairs beautifully with game and aged cheeses.

Nestled in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, this family estate has embodied Burgundian excellence since 1902, combining tradition and precision to reveal the quintessence of great terroirs.
- Terroir : Clay-limestone and Jurassic marl soils, the birthplace of the Grands Crus of the Côte de Nuits, where Pinot Noir expresses power and minerality.
- Vinification : Aging in oak barrels (30 to 50% new), respect for natural cycles and measured extraction for wines of structured elegance.

- In the glass : Deep garnet robe with ruby highlights, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance, heralding a generous and precise wine.
- On the nose : Initially lively and airy, it unfolds aromas of wild blueberry and fresh blackberry, before giving way to deeper notes of forest floor, liquorice and smoke, punctuated by a saline and chalky touch.
- On the palate : A frank and fleshy attack, carried by a taut acidity and a velvety tannic structure, where black fruits, gentle spices and a persistent minerality intertwine, leading to a remarkably long finish.
Serve between 15 and 17°C in a Burgundy glass, slightly open to concentrate the aromas.

A vintage marked by a rare balance between concentration and freshness, where climatic conditions allowed the great terroirs to express themselves with remarkable purity.
- Aging potential : Store for 15 to 20 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C), away from light, for a harmonious evolution toward complex tertiary notes.
