Domaine Armand Rousseau presents this Ruchottes-Chambertin Clos des Ruchottes 2016, Grand Cru of Gevrey-Chambertin. This Pinot Noir, aged with 30% new barrels, combines black fruits, spices and minerals with a fine and fresh structure. Ideal through 2035 with game or aged cheeses.
Nestled in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, this family estate has embodied the excellence of Burgundy wines for nearly a century.

In the glass: Deep garnet robe with ruby highlights, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry, wild blackberry, violet and liquorice, underlined by a chalky touch and a subtle salinity.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, integrated yet present tannins, chalky minerality and a saline, persistent finish of great length.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
